Ok, this is the part where we say "Ah Har, Me Hearties", or something similar and suitably pirate like. But that’s exactly what you expect us to say. So we won’t. 'Cos we're just not that predictable.
The most gorgeous feature about our peg-legged buzzard is, we believe, not the fact that he is so intricately detailed (hand-painted, complete with skull and cross-bones on his blazer, and anchor tattoo at the back of his neck), nor the fact that he is so generously proportioned (an impressive 38cm tall, a portly 9cm wide).
No. We think the most endearing trait of our fearless sea cap'n is the rather... interesting placement of his squeaker vent. Gives Cap'n Buzz a rather unfortunate case of flatulence when squeezed. Rather difficult to keep one's dignity, actually. Especially when your dog is likely to explore the source of the sound and do what dogs usually do with noses. And bottoms.
No doubt goes a long way towards explaining Cap'n Buzz's rather injured expression.
We must admit we are unsure if the rather witty positioning of the squeeker vent on the underside of poor Cap'n Buzz's tail feathers is just an amusing coincidence or deliberate. But with the squeeker giving out a resounding raspberry noise rather than your traditional high pitched squeek, we're plumping for the latter.
Anyway, this one's a winner in our book. And we're pretty sure you're dog's gonna love it too. Poly-filled durable latex with a raspberry squeeker and gorgeous hand detailing, this sea-faring buzzard's a must in any toy basket with a sense of humour. In the unlikely event it doesn't become your dog's favourite toy, it's sure to become yours!
